Cameron is a native of South Bend, Indiana. She attended Indiana University where she studied Mass Communications. Cameron moved to Columbus in July of 2004 to work with a voter registration organization during the Presidential Election. She then took a position with The OSU Medical Center in Thoracic Surgery where shemaintained the hectic clinic schedules of two surgeons. Says Cameron, "I am very excited to work for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering and I hope to learn a lot about the field!"
