Scholarships and aid
MSE department scholarships
Through the generous provision of our alumni, over $85,000 per year is given to students in the MSE department. Over 20 departmental scholarship funds--in addition to other private, university, state and federal financial assistance--are available to aid our students.
Scholarships of up to $1,000 are guaranteed for new first quarter freshmen who:
- declare MSE as their first area of interest and
- score 30 or above on the Math portion of the ACT or
- score 670 on the Math portion of the SAT.
Scholarships ranging from $250 to $2,000 are guaranteed for MSE majors and pre-majors with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Most awards are made for applications received by March 1 of each year, although submissions at other times are considered on a more limited basis.
