At the 1998 Fall ECS meeting in Boston, MA, a symposium was held in honor of Jerry Kruger's 70th birthday. Four days of sessions and a poster session. It was very well attended. Even Thursday afternoon there were 55 people in the room when the symposium was closed. The proceedings volume, "Critical Factors in Localized Corrosion, III" edited by R. Kelly, P. Natishan, G. Frankel, and R. Newman will be available soon - order a copy now. On the Tuesday night of that week a reception was held to honor Jerry Kruger. It was a memorable event for all those present Below you will find photographs of the reception.
